Why visit Sri Pada / Adam's Peak?

Sacred night climb & unforgettable sunrise views

Adam’s Peak, also known as Sri Pada, is one of Sri Lanka’s most meaningful mountain experiences, combining adventure, culture and spiritual atmosphere in one unforgettable climb. The journey usually begins from Nallathanniya on the Hatton route, the most popular and recommended path for visitors. Guests start the climb late at night or after midnight to reach the summit before sunrise, where they can witness breathtaking views across the central highlands. The experience also includes the peaceful base village, the pilgrimage trail, tea and rest stops along the way, and scenic views near Maussakelle Reservoir before or after the climb.
